I've had the privilege of caring for cats for just over 30 years, and during that time, they’ve truly become one of the greatest joys in my life. From playful kittens to wise old seniors, I’ve shared my home, and my heart, with countless feline companions. There’s something incredibly special about the bond between a human and a cat. It's quiet, respectful, and deeply meaningful. Their affection is unconditional, and their trust is something you earn over time, a reward that I’ve always cherished.
Cats have always been my pet of choice. Their unique personalities, intelligence, and independence make every relationship different and rewarding in its own way. I’ve never met a cat I couldn’t connect with, whether it's a shy rescue who needs gentle encouragement or an energetic kitten eager for play. Over the years, I’ve learned to read their body language, anticipate their needs, and provide the calm, loving presence they thrive on.
After decades of being a devoted cat parent and caregiver, it occurred to me, why not share this experience and love with others? That’s why I decided to offer my cat sitting services to the public. I know firsthand how important it is to leave your furry family member in trustworthy hands while you're away. With me, your cat won’t just be “watched”, they’ll be cared for with the same level of attention, compassion, and understanding I give my own.
Whether it’s administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, preparing special meals, or simply offering companionship, I provide thorough, reliable, and loving care tailored to each cat’s needs and personality. I’ve listed my qualifications and experience in detail, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
As a courtesy, I've also created an Excel spreadsheet I call the Cat Sitting Journal. I will present this journal to my clients at the end of each cat sit. It will detail all of the work completed by me on any given day. For example, you'll see when the litter box was cleaned, how often your kitties were fed and medicated, and when the plants were watered, etc.
